Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a primary health profession which utilizes hands on techniques to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Musculoskeletal conditions arise from the muscles, joints, and nervous system throughout the body.

Your first appointment will consist of a thorough history, physical exam which will tell your doctor what the problem may be. A treatment plan will be made and conversed to optimize recovery. A typical treatment plan will consist of  joint mobilizing and manipulation, and soft tissue techniques. These techniques may reduce pain levels and increase pain free movement.

Common conditions Chiropractic care can help:

  • Back Pain
  • Neck Pain
  • Headaches
  • Whiplash
  • TMJ ( jaw pain)
  • Arthritis / Joint Pains
  • Sports Injuries
  • Sprains / Strains
  • Pregnancy pain

Chiropractic care has many benefits, however there are conditions that may not be benefited by chiropractic. In that case your chiropractor can refer to any other health care professional.
