Janissa Cooley
Janissa grew up in small town Oxbow, SK, however she graduated from Weyburn Comprehensive School in 2018 after playing 3 years with the Weyburn Goldwings. Janissa then attended University of Saskatchewan where she completed 1 year of the Bachelor of Kinesiology program before making a change and enrolling in Medical Massage Therapy at Axiom Career College in Saskatoon. Upon completion of her Massage Therapy diploma, she moved back home to Oxbow and opened her practice Thrive Therapeutic Massage working out of her family home in July 2021. Janissa is excited to expand her practice by offering massage therapy services in Weyburn on Monday and Tuesdays, while she continues working in Oxbow Wednesday-Friday. Janissa looks forward to working with new clients here in Weyburn as she plans to move to Weyburn full time in the future.
Janissa has played many sports growing up, hockey and competitive speed swimming being high on her favorites' list. She has played the past 2 seasons on the women’s recreational hockey team in Oxbow and has recently taken up golf within the last few summers. On any given day you can find Janissa curled up with her nose in a good book, laying on the beach or on the boat surfing with her family.
Janissa will be available in Weyburn on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
